    Definitely negative propaganda. When you use photoshopped celebrities to reinforce negative beauty standards, it is 100% bad for women and girls everywhere.

    The maker of this piece of propaganda is trying to say that if you eat their product, you will not gain weight. One technique used in this propaganda is transfer because the company has a famous figure promoting their product saying that when she ate the company's chips, she did not gain weight. I think this ad is harmful because it is targeting women on their size and shape and telling women that they should eat these chips so they won't gain weight. I see how it is beneficial for those who do not want to gain weight but it may take away the purpose of loving the body you are in.

    I feel that this example is more harmful than beneficial. The ad is promoting the fact that the product is not harmful to your diet and will not make you gain weight, which is beneficial for people who are concerned about that. However, I think that the way that the ad accomplishes this point (through using Katy Perry, who is very slim) is harmful to people's body image. Not everyone has the frame to look like Katy Perry, and I feel like this ad promotes the idea that the ideal woman is skinny. I also think that this ad could be harmful to a younger audience by promoting the idea that you should always be concerned about your figure, and that you should strive to be skinny. I think that the ad could have done a better job promoting a healthy lifestyle, rather than emphasizing that the product does not "go to your hips."
