Many influencers are sponsored by Bloom and post content about how it tastes amazing, works so well, but never provide any proof. Bloom is not FDA approved, and does not provide third-party testing results on ingredients. Since very popular influencers have posted with Bloom before, such as Alix Earle, fans are easily influenced and will buy this product, even though it does not actually work. This is propaganda because it is promoting a product that is basically just a placebo effect.

    I liked that you talked about this ad because it is really a very popular product that millions of people purchase everyday thinking that it is going to solve all of their gut health issues. I really liked that you mentioned the fact that the brand is not FDA approved because it shows how much effort you put into communicating fact-based information about this ad to your target audience. The only thing I would add to this ad analysis is an explanation of the rhetorical devices used on this ad, however I enjoyed reading your analysis of its impact and that you mentioned details about their sponsors and their unreliable claims and marketing tactics.
